Pre-Game Preparation

As the Highschool team readies themselves for their first game with their 6th practice, the Junior High is on their 3rd practice. Coached by Mrs. Bradbury, the team did a footwork race and a triangle passing drill today in practice.

The Highschoolers practiced their corner kicks and set pieces in preparation for their game against First Baptist tomorrow. Last year, they won 5-4 in a comeback victory, where Isaac scored in the last few minutes to win the game, so we're all excited for tomorrow.

"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you should also wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth; no set an is greater that his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them."

The First Practice

The Highschool team had their first practice today, which included the usual mile run, The Bank Game, and the beginning of a devotion series on leadership. We also learned how to put up the new full-sized portable goal that was bought. Afterwards, we headed over to the Vanderplaats for a pool party and Little Caesars pizza!

"Whoever wishes to become great among you shall become your servant; and whoever wishes to become first among you shall be slave of all."
